If Secco weren't such a dickwad, Juve could have had either Xabi Alonso or Rafael Van der Vaart for that position (I doubt Aquilani would have left Roma). I'm not a Juve fan, but it's really sad for me to see the Old Lady gleefully buying up journeymen players that wouldn't have even made the bench for the great Juventus teams of the past.

Sissoko flatters to deceive. It was the same at Liverpool --- spells of great form, with some calling him the next Patrick Vieira, and then periods of disastrous play. He may end up achieving some semblance of consistency, but Juventus in all honesty should be buying up the Michael Essiens of the game instead of entrusting a 23 year old Liverpool reject with defensive midfield.

Please, Juventus and Milan are still extremely wealthy clubs. They just seem reluctant to spend money lately, and when they do, it's usually for damaged goods. I hate Moggi as much as the next guy (or girl), but the man was a transfer genius. Secco is a complete dumbass in comparison and Ranieri is not much better... he just came out this week to say that freaking Poulsen is better than Xabi Alonso. I'm considering asking him when I move back to Italy next year whatever it is that he's smoking.

Definitly a great player no matter what anybody says. However, I would like to see him get a bit more selfish with the ball and shoot more often. But he could be Juventus' future captain and the later version of Del Piero.
