No their guitarist isn't that good in my opinion he just seems kinda generic.
And these guys seem to be too much of a cookie-cutter band, nothing new.
what is dying, thank God,is the alternative-numetal-grunge-punk shit which have polluted the music world over the last 15 years!
New young REAL rock bands are growing all over the world with just an exception: USA!!!
It's time for Americans to wake up and discover THEY invented rock n'roll, the world is sick with the shit they did since the advent of fuckin nirvana!
YOU are obsolete,REAL rock is here to stay forever like jazz and classical, the trend followers just lasts a few years then they are condemned to anonimity .
´s the return of RNR. This ain´t no F***ING Rock & Roll, this is quite sad, actually.
I know rock MUCH MORE than you that's for sure, maybe you know all about alternative-grunge-punk-rap-hip hop-emo-crossover and vartious shit but you know NOTHING about REAL rock.
Rock means a sound,an attitude, the roots in the blues, melody, skills, solos etc..
what sprung out since 1992 especially in USA had nothing to do with rock,it was just a pathetic imitation of punk-new wave of the late 70's: no solos, crap vocalist,no skills etc..
rturn to rock school
´m a sound engineer. I live from and around and thanks to music. I have probably a collection (albums, i don´t listen to mp3) larger than you could immagine, boy. I know plenty about attitude, from Robert Johnson to Monk to Hendrix to Bowie to Jack White. I probably know a couple hundred bands a
nd artists who contributed largely in changing the course of music history, and from which you haven´t even heard. I assure you, kid: Zeppelin rocked, this guys just pose.
I love funk-jazz-fusion-soul-REAL rock(hard,heavy,prog,AOR)classic-pop-some electronic .
I can listen from bach to led zep, from earth wind and fire to journey, from prince to mgmt, from elp to talking heads but it must be GOOD and REAL music.
I respect you but I can't agreed with you.
The Answer are not posers, they love what they do and there are MANY people around the world hungry for this REAL rock music
´t feel it. I like going forward, for me this is nothing but mere imitation. As you well say, it is a careful collection of all the stereotyped sounds, faces, hairdos and nasty habits, all together on top of four kids who don´t have much to say. No roots here. I´m quite tired of that, now.
duffy is an imitation of the 50's sound
mgmt are an imitation of 80's bands
chromeo are an imitation of disco-funk
TONS of new bands are an imitation of something alse, that do not means AT ALL they are unoriginal.
people is BORED with this shittie "the next big thing" attitude, music is not only business,if a kid love beethoven or miles davis and want to play that style he worths MUCH MORE than another kid who only follows the trends and the stupid masses
