It's identical. I'm in Spain and I bought the 4GB ZEN one year ago. I saw in the video that the options of the menu, features, etc it's = to the 4GB zen. I like ZEN than iPOD (oh, yes, there're some things that I like from iPOD: his ads :-P Did you know that in Spain we don't have iPOD spots? ONLY the spot of Macintosh that I saw here was from the iPhone. I know the ads thanks to youTube and the uploader people. iPOD is expensive and I don't like the policy of DMR. In US a CD are 5$, here 15$ :S

Sorry, I wanted to say DRM, not DMR. We have more expensive the music that others countries, but we have legal P2P. You can use Ares, Emule, BitTorrent here because is not illegal to share music, videos, etc IF you do not have a view of profit. But might be the law will change and the biggers industries'll win, again. :-( BUT NOW IS LEGAL EVEN.

too bad the software frequently display's "Not Responding" and then when you close the application down or turn off your PC the Player freeze's... The last time it did this was 3 weeks ago and the player hasn't turned on since.. all the different methods you plug it in and hit reset still does nothing.. It's Dead 2 weeks after purchase, and after reading all the different forum threads, and Youtube comments it seems that these Zen's are prone to freezing and outright dying. Buyer Beware!

You can add an extra 8 GB of memory as an SD card (in)to it. At least that's the biggest one in Holland, I suggest to ask around at your electronic store for that info :)

no you don't have to. you can use the program that comes with it. its easy to use. or you can just find it under 'my computer' when its plugged in and just click and drag.
