you know Monet, Renoir, Manet... and all those artist? the impressionists?
they have done everything to let the people understand that art is art and they tried to show the people that they paint realism! but nobody understood them. people hated ther work! but in the end... they won... and there famous now! and it was the same with Picasso... and now... it's changing again!
so be more open minded to art and try to see the beauty of it...

I am not disagreeing with artists who have gone before, but there are some fundamental rules even they wouldn't break.I can see the beauty in art, it doesn't mean that everything that is painted should be automatically accepted. We are living in an age that is scared to air their opinions for fear of not going with the crowd.

furtermore... This image would have looked far better done on a tinted background, thats all im saying! Actually the impressionists painted their impression of the world (hence the name, funny that). Monet towards the end of his life developed cateracts which resulted in his greatest work, so please dont try and lecture me on who the great artists were and make sure you get your facts straight.

don't you see that you are just like those men who disliked the paintings of them in those days...
they didn't accept the fact that they tried to do something different to.
though they did something new, those men thought they were breaking the rules to.
maybe in 60 years artists find another way to paint. and then this is a normal way for art. and that a way that is "breaking the rules of art".

I know very little about art. But art is far as I know a way to express one self on his or her own way. I can't imagine that there can exist such things as rules in the world of arts. And if rules do exists they are ment to be broken. People who live by rules are people with limited minds and will be the ones to be slaves under limitation and will never reach higher grounds.
