thinker- Actually, ... ( 2 weeks ago by DbzmasterdbzNecross)
thinker- Actually, we rag on religion first because 1) evolution is proven and 2) creationists make the claims that life was created, therefore, THEY are the ones who must provide evidence; it is not our job to teach you high school/college level evolution. But, I digress. Life has not been created in a lab entirely from scratch (IE They've never taken a bunch of different chemicals and get a life form); however, there were alternatives that I will mention in my next post.
They were able to ... ( 2 weeks ago by DbzmasterdbzNecross)
They were able to make a man-made cell through some kind of electrical circuit process that I don't fully understand as I cannot remember much of it at the moment. And why? To learn more about how life works and such.
Wrong, there is no ... ( 2 weeks ago by thinker222)
Wrong, there is no man-made cell. What high school/college did you attend? The whole molecules to man theory is a non-starter without the first living cell coming from non-living material. Intelligent humans cannot even come close to producing a living cell, yet evolutionists claim that it happened at random by unguided processes. Speculation? Why is this speculation taught to people like you as "fact"? Look up Stanley Miller, learn that he spent his whole life TRYING to create life, and failed.
thinker- Hell, I ... ( 2 weeks ago by DbzmasterdbzNecross)
thinker- Hell, I heard about it a while ago and I just remembered it. And FYI i'm still in high school. And you're mixing up evolution with abiogenesis (the latter is entirely just speculation, while what they teach you, evolution, is proven), which are unrelated. Common creationist mistake.
Evolution, as it is ... ( 2 weeks ago by thinker222)
Evolution, as it is taught in most places is "molecules to man," so the origin of life is absolutely relevant. It is in fact the first step in evolution, but evolutionists run screaming from the origin because they know life does not spring randomly from non-life, evolution never got started! You are still in high school, great, well you have an opportunity to ask your teacher some reasonable questions about evolution, instead of nodding your head mindlessly like all of your classmates will.
my personal opinion ... ( 2 weeks ago by bf2spurgu)
my personal opinion of thinker222 is that he is an ignorant retard with brain numbingly stupid arguments... ALL HAIL LEPRECHAUNS WHO LIVE IN MY PANTS AND CREATED THE WORLD
thinker- I've done ... ( 2 weeks ago by DbzmasterdbzNecross)
thinker- I've done lots of research on this stuff too. Abiogenesis is NOT related, stupid. Evolution does nothing to explain the origins, so it has nothing to do with it. It's like if I'm licking an ice cream cone and that's related to how i got the ice cream cone. evolution is proven, dipshit, and it has nothing to do with abiogenesis. Get that through your thick skull. Your science teacher or professor will never be explaining how life came about, only how it got more diverse.
Why do ... ( 2 weeks ago by thinker222)
Why do evolutionists always make this separation between the origin of life and evolution? Are you leaving the possibility open to intelligent design? And yes, evolution is proven, the microevolution part(variation) only. The part where lizard sweat glands turn into lactating breast over time is quite obviously ridiculous. The part where cows slowly turn into whales over time is absurd. You want to be associated with these ideas?Remember, leave religion OUT of your reply, you keep having trouble w/ this.
Yes, it is possible ... ( 2 weeks ago by DbzmasterdbzNecross)
Yes, it is possible. Cows do not turn into whales; it was sort of a very big...dog...like...thingy. And you can't just accept micro evolution and not macro evolution. If I design a toy robot who has a gun and a sword and horns, and every week i change something very small, maybe tweak the horns, dull the sword, slightly shape out the gun, after maybe, hell, a few years of doing this, the toy robot would probably be very different. Macro=micro+time. A large scale doesn't make it ridiculous.
Results of all ... ( 2 weeks ago by thinker222)
Results of all fruit fly experiments? Just more fruit flies. Results of all bacteria experiments? Just more bacteria. Yes, variation happens, height, color, size. These variations do not convince me that your "dog like thingy" becomes a whale no matter how much time you add. Limits exist to the variation, because random mutations are not going to give you the creative beneficial mutations you are expecting. Try randomly arranging computer code, see how often the program is improved.
Okay, look, ... ( 1 week ago by DbzmasterdbzNecross)
Okay, look, 7777777777. Now every day, you will change one of the 7's into a 5, comparable to how every once in a while, there is a small change. Eventually, all of the numbers in that 10 digit code will become 5's, just like how eventually, all the small changes accumulate and you have an entirely different species. It's preposterous to say that if something changes alot over a long period of time it still stays the same thing; it's like saying you can count to 10 but not 10,000.
A line of 7's ... ( 1 week ago by thinker222)
A line of 7's doesn't represent the complexity in DNA. Instead, you should use my analogy, the code of a computer program.A line of 7's would be a computer program than does nothing.Replace the 7's with 5's, it still does nothing. You may lose information this way (devolution) but novel features (such as a brain) will not appear.Ask a monkey to make random changes to the code of a real computer program (like Windows) do you expect future revisions to be filled with new handy features over time?
The analogy was to ... ( 1 week ago by DbzmasterdbzNecross)
The analogy was to show you that if you change something very slight at certain intervals, eventually, whatever you're changing will end up being completely different in the end.
Your overly simple ... ( 1 week ago by thinker222)
Your overly simple analogy shows a lack of interest in the details. I think my fundamental difference with evolutionists is my interest in getting to the truth, and having tough questions answered. I do not take in faith that a "dog like thingy" evolved into whales over time. Why can't we get a fruit fly to become something other than a fruit fly..."because it takes too much time", right? Why can we even attempt to diagram how eyes evolved, or the human brain? It IS all theory, not fact.
i cant believe ... ( 1 week ago by bf2spurgu)
i cant believe people(like myself)are still replying to "thinker"222's comments.. he is making up stuff. like "evolutionists are not interested of getting to the truth" that is just a lie. they are scientists who use the scientific method to get the results as factual as possible. and yes, evolution takes time... but not as long as "thinker"'s brain does getting to any less nonsensical conclusions. gravity is just a theory. therefore i will not believe in it and gnomes in my pants rule the world
bf- Wow, I'm stupid ... ( 1 week ago by DbzmasterdbzNecross)
bf- Wow, I'm stupid. Why? I'm arguing with Thinker222, an ignorant evangelist who seems to be part of this gigantic straw man movement against evolution on youtube. Ironic username, isn't it?

? i didnt call anyone stupid except thinker? did i? if i did i apologise and i didnt mean it.. and yeah.. i agree .. a great irony.

yeah i guess you're right... its still annoying to leave someone with bad justifications for their beliefs.
all that evolution ... ( 1 week ago by Erech01)
all that evolution does is alter the porphology of animals, throughout the animal kingdom we see the same basic skeletal lay out for all vertabrates, evolution hasnt needed to change it completly, its still basically the same, just altered abit to better fit certain environments and living habits.
How many ... ( 1 week ago by thinker222)
How many alterations were needed to go from "dog like thingy" to whale?

no idea, it doesnt happen in steps, its gradual change.
As used in science, ... ( 4 days ago by marcarmstrong88)
As used in science, a theory is an explanation or model based on observation, experimentation, and reasoning, especially one that has been tested and confirmed as a general principle helping to explain and predict natural phenomena. ... most ppl mix up "Theory", as what is really called a "hypothesis". .. ps they are dumb pieces of my shit hehe!

Why did Faidros86 tag this creationism? That's just inviting the idiots.
