I hate Canon in D! I play cello too, and I still shudder when I hear it. The basses have a bad part, too. They either have all half notes, or quarter notes where they have to go from 1st position to 6th and back for each note.

XD My orchestra teacher played this for us the other day. It definitely made my day. Playing violin as my main instrument, I LOVE Canon in D, but cello is my secondary, so I know how terrible the part is. XP Sorry to all those cellists out there =D
