The Essence of producing quality hip hop tracks have been mainly lost but there is a few out worth checking out: Little Brother with 9th Wonder, Talib Kweli, Common, Mos Def,etc.
Yea Commerical & Entertainment companies have been successful in destroying the young peoples mind in regard to whats good quality hip hop. On the radio hip hop has definitely died. But hip hop lives in us and the true heads and we have to continue educating the youth about whats real and whats not.
