Small minded? I can defeat a fingerprinting system with a gummy bear and a microwave, how's that for security. Now you say we need to scan our eyes just to make sure we're not some terrorist? You're not making it difficult for "terrorists" or "criminals", you're just making it a hassle for everyone else, because you think giving up some of your liberties for a little security is the right thing to do.

I think HumanityILoveYou: Was not refering to the photosynthesis of trees. Rather the CO2 produced in decaying vegation. There is no harm in recycling, nor is technological advancement harmful. Teaching children they are going to die. That is harmful.

The IPCC admits its computer modeling is not scientifically sound. It only produces "what if" scenarios in its report. Scientists from all over the world submit factual findings. The IPCC's, staffs most of which are not scientists, cherry pick the reports to center its findings around the alarmist "man-made" theory. Regardless of weather the majority of the true reports reflect the same conclusion.

Here in Oregon our legislators saw fit to enact laws force industry to pay an offset business for percentage of C02 emissions; low-income housing will comply with green building requirements; and non-profits are screaming for preservation of "special places" . This includes new developments, farm and ranch lands. Primarly voting for further zoning restrictions. Oregon already has extermely strick zoning laws.

The worst part is what it does to legitimate Environmental concerns. Now that the UN's IPCC, news media and non-profits have wielded scare tactics as a means to defraud the public...
