I swear I read somewhere this video was 'banned' upon initial release. Saw excerpts on Entertainment Tonight. AWESOME SONG but at the time of this release, I was in elementary school and I couldn't convince my mother to let me have the 45. Didnt get it till years later but this was such a cool song on the radio!!! Mommy wouldnt let me have it...for guess what reason? I couldnt recite the words, and she would say her things ect...you get the picture.

Went to see John Mellencamp concert last night he sang this song as an encore,the only best thing about the show the rest of it very disappointing a no thrills concert for the price of tickets expected so much more.A lot of fans left concert dissappointed comments saying the concert was crap.
