OK, just for the record. Buddy is where we all came from (drummers). We do not brook any comparisons and please never commit the ultimate sin and tell us that there was better. When God plays drums, he pretends he is Buddy Rich. He only made one, and all the rest that are are now and to come will just try to honor him by being as good as we can be. But I know no one who believes to know a better drummer than Buddy. It is kind of like insulting John Wayne. You just don't do it.
