avril's version is better, buy i think its close. the production of this version is geared towards gradually building momentum then the exploding bridge-its made to be a top 40 hit. in that way avrils is better. avril has a better voice. Leona arguably sings better, but does over-singing make you a better singer? maybe not... go avril

It is stupid to say that Avril sings better than Leona,Leona sings in 3 different tones Avril sings only in one because higher tones are to hard for her.Leona can sing high c but avril not. And Leona is considered as quality singer who can sing live the same as she sings on cd,but Avril cannot because all of her songs are made with lot's of computer help..Leona is better,she really feels what she sings but Avril not!!

My opinion is probably biased owing to the fact that the first version I heard was Avril's, a long time ago, and I've just found out about Leona's version, but I still think Avril did a much greater job with this song that Leona did.
Leona is a great singer, with an amazing vocal range and a really beautiful voice. Avril is great in her own way, too. I don't think this song really fits Leona. She's more of a diva kind of singer and this song has Avril written all over it.

She isn't oversinging. If you notice though Avril doesn't have the same pitch but they both do the same thing on the choruses. Rush two of the lines and sing them really high.

i think avril and leona both did pretty well but leona's way of singing this song is good for listening a few times but you really can't sing along since she sings in different tones. It's really great that leona can sing with a powerful voice, but people would prefer avrils version since its more of a pop to it since their voice is different i like avrils version cause i can actually sing along to it since leona holds her notes longer :]]

I am neither a fan of Avril nor Leona and I have to say that Leona's version is clearly better. Her voice is stronger with much more emotion then Avril. she is definitely not "over singing. Its called emotion and awesome range. Your just used to Avril's one tone singing. Avril could learn a thing or two from Leona. Avril sounds good but there is no arguing on who sings this song better.
