macs suck. so do all mainstream PCs. dell, hp, apple, gateway, emachines; OSX, vista, xp, it doesnt matter its all over priced, buggy, and likes to fuck up. so to simplify... if you dont know much about computers and want to fit in with the "cool crowd" get a mac. if you want to play pretty games, get a pc with vista. if you know a bit about computers and want the most reliable, inexpensive, efficient system, build your own pc and install linux or xp(if you also game).

since you have to comps, you should've got one as linux.
PC + linux = 99.9% No virus, all programs (even OS).
MAC + Linux = 100% No virus, a little limit of programs.
Either way, you still have a really great benefit of speed, programing and formatting of comps. Mac + PC can't do that much, as both does almost what each other can do.

true that, unfortunately there is downsides too.
Slower running speed.
Limit runable programs.
certain unstable set ups.
In the end, Windows inside mac = bad idea.
Get a linux instead :P Run all, does all, all benifit, and definitely for all! Just need time and patience on learning

£380. It is more powerful than any of the current mac laptops on the market and it cost a fraction of the price.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I'm getting fucking sick of pc fanboys boasting about their "SUPER AWSUM CUSTOM BUILT PC" If I want a Mac, I'll get a Mac, if I want a PC, I'll get a PC. I'm not relying on some idiotic assholes on the internet to tell me what computer to buy, I'll buy what I feel is right for me, it's all about personal preference.

Mac's are better than PC's? Because of Adobe, which er, makes all its software for PC's too? Mac's make up less than 5% of all the computers in the world. That 5% are usually 'creatives' who cant even use a PC. Overpriced, Incompatable, Niche. And that's before they break. And the 'Geniuses' in the stores? Do me a favour.
