I am only 12 and it took me around a half hour to learn to ride the ripstick but i find riding a ripsticks is alot less difficult then riding a skate board soooooooooo you should get the hang of it in a day or maybe more it just deppends how comfortabe u feel riding if u practice for a long time it will come to u i though i was hopeless but i got it

this thing is pretty fun once you get to know how to use it its gay in two ways tho its impossible to stop when your goin down a hill and you cant ride it backwards oh and there a little childish so the hard core skateboard kids will probably make fun of you for rideing it
