This is a highly under-performed version of Ave Maria. I prefer the Caccini setting to Schubert any day! Nice phrasing by Sumi. She's got a great variety of vocal colours coming out here.

Absolutely agree! I thought I died and was in heaven when I heard this accidentally for the first time. Never heard about Caccini before. so I googled and found this Wikipedia entry: "Ave Maria by Caccini, despite the title, has not been composed by Caccini but by Vladimir Vavilov in 1972: the reason leading to this false attribution is still unclear. The attribution of the work is often misunderstood by the public, due to the misleading title." Whatever, it's HAUNTING.
