| The make a big deal about it is because the Bible speaks against it. So like any other sin that have to speak against it. I understand why you feel the way you do. An alcohol would take the same stands if they were preaching about Alcoholism. I DO BELIEVE ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE with JESUS CHRIST!!! That includes Change! Homosexuality is a SPIRIT. | I just hve to say I love you B. Scott, but I have to say that homosexuality is a sin. I know you're saved and I know that you are going to heaven becuase you believe in Him and what you do it between you and Him. My brother is gay and I know Him. He is my favorite sibling. he taught me so many things, but I hate his sin. I get mad at others who hate gays, becuase they're gay. I just hate the sin factor not matter if u r gay or not. i hate some of the sins that I do as well. Love ya B! |

| our sexuality/sexual orientation is a part of our spirit; it's not a sin...God created us this way. the bible was edited, one. two, the bible wasn't meant to be literally translated. I know all about the so-called spiritual warfare. i took a class on warfare to "rid me of my sexual tendencie" didn't work honey. plus my parents are both ministers. | Homosexuality is a SIN, and people can change with God's help. God didn't make you that way, we are made in His image, and His image is not gay. I'm not judging you, but you can't be saved, and live the way you want to, if so, there would be no need to get saved. |

| I really do believe that people are born gay because the Bible does say we were born in sin and shapen in eniquities...but Christianity requires a change in everyones life...no matter what sin we are commiting...fornication, lying, homosexuality...they all are sins that can be changed... and they talk about homosexuality so much because there are so many in the church... |

| yes pmciver, you are surely without sin and have the right to tell others that they are sinful. Secondly, where in the bible or anywhere for that matter does it say ANYTHING about God's sexuality? Also, homosexuality has been observed in over 500 animal species. Are you insinuating that God messed up in his creation? Lastly, you're judging. You literally said "you cannot be saved" which is judging. So why don't you worry about your own life and leave us alone. |

| I wasn't trying to offend you, nor judge you, I said that in my response. you said that once you're gay you're gay, and can't change. That's not true, with God all things are possible. God was perfect, and without sin, so he had no sexuality. As for me, I am surely not without sin. I am not against gay people, I love everyone, people just need to know the truth, because that is what sets you free!! The bible says people parish for the lack of knowledge. | I really like your comment. That is true no matter what sin you are commiting, Christianity does require a change in everyone's life, and they all are sins that "CAN" be changed. | I agree. Sexuality is innate you cannot change your feelings on sex, you can only repress them and avoid them. However, at the right time place and with the right person you can slip and back step ANYTIME!!! We're only human. Don't agree with hmsxy. being "who" you are but "what". There is a big difference between the two that people must recognize. What:gay/str8, black/white, rich/poor, cop/teacher Who:pleasant/miserable, honest/dishonest, giving/selfish are characters of these concepts |

| God is love and peace...he didn't come to only bring peace...He told us must Jesus bare the cross alone and all the world go free..no theres a cross for everyone and theres a cross for me...he came to bring forth a change to shake up what we thought was right (our sins) ..he came to give his life for ours so that we would not have to stay in the same sinful state and be forgiven of our sins...and it may be part of the spirit but thats why Jesus comes as well, to mend broken spirits... |

| I accept and honor the conventional Christian perspective but I no longer believe such statements. Jesus, a master teacher, came to teach us about many life lessons. One Lesoon: as reflections of God, we have control over our body. He died and rose again to show us that we can reincarnate ourselves. The Cross: reprents our individual sufferings. Jesus teaches us that once we accept our sufferings and let go. "Not my will but your will be done." |

| CONT. (Edited) Once we accept the present moment, stop trying to avoid pain,then the ego dies and the divine comes thru...i.e. struggles/challenges bring transformation and growth. Helps us grow closer to the divine. Another Lesson: God is Love. We are reflections of God, Children of God. So, our duty is to be loving Beings and to live consciously. Since we are one with God, we aren't sinful creatures. |

| "Preach, Preachaaaah!!!" LOL I love it. But seriously, I went through so much hell all the way 'til I was about 20yo, thinking no matter how good of a person i was, God was gonna send my ass to hell becuz of what I was. And to make it worse, on top of comin' from a churchgoing family, I went to a Christian private school most of my life, so I had that hateful indoctrination ingrained in me the whole first part of my life. I never understood why a loving God would send me to hell. |

| B, I am a christian and I a church where my pastor preaches those sermons. However, I do not fully agree with them. Of course, in the Bible, homosexuality is "wrong" but so is stealing and killing. People do those things all the time and they are not condemned the way homosexuals are. It's not fair, it's really not. But judgement is for God to do not anyone else. Love you B!! |
