nope..not at all..the new person is Michael Becket, a Delta Force solider..search and rescue..when they landed into the city..playing halfway through the game..FEAR 1ending the exploison happen..tha"ts why the city streets is in chaos

oh ya..there's a fear comic that tells you what happen after the ending of F.E.A.R..when the helicopter crashes..Douglas was missing..and the pilot was alive..but was later killed by alama..so throughout the F.E.A.R 2..as you are playing as the delta-force guy..half-way through the game..the explosion happens..when point man runs out of the facitily..and it cost a chain-reaction..tha"ts when the cities was engued in flames..i hope you understand ^^

yo the 1st game was scary as hell, i couldnt play it at night only in midday, alma is a little bastard, hope this is as good as the 1st and the expansion pack

the pointman was alma's 1st son, when she was a child, thats why she sometimes helps you and sometimes not, then her other child was the vampire dude, which she had when she was a bit older thats why when she appears as a child you should run to her and when the grown one appears you should run away, its like she had a split personality

because the new guy is sent in to arrest the person responsible for the whole thing, he is in another f.e.a.r. group sent in after the city blows up, maybe you get to see the pointman or maybe in f.e.a.r. 3 who knows

okay maybe that will be the plot?, who will get to Genevieve first, and whether she was in or out doesn't matter she still could kill who ever she wanted, from my understanding the delta force gets sent in right after the city explosion to find out what happened and to look for Genevieve
