Frozen Embryos, Breastfeeding and Collectibles

Uploaded by: mia0899cs
Video Description:
Women are having children much later in life, therefore, they are freezing embryos. It is a really strange concept for me. Also, since breastfeeding is such a big topic here on YT I have been pondering what my maternal Grandmother would have went through because she had 13 children. This also brings me into an old breastfeeding rocking chair that I own from the 1800's. Some people do not like owning things that dead people have used. Well, I don't like owning furniture that has to be assembled from a box. Also, these antiques will appreciate because they are a collectible item. Listen to the whole video and you will find out what is going to be the most collectible item.

They do have to be a fertilized egg otherwise the freesing process will destroy the unfertized egg. Good points though. Interesting. Having so many children was the norm back then for some people. The mortality rate was much higher then then now plus other issues. Your remark about a tax deduction cracked me up lol

Another question??? ... ( 1 year ago by owenbigpinekey)
Another question??? Do we or i should say they know if the fetilized eggs are good?? Im not an expert but when the guys sperm goes into the woman arent ther millions and millions of eggs and you dont get pregnant neccessarily all the time right? So whats to say the woman saves an egg for 30 yrs and when it comes time to using the egg it doesnt work.
I could be wrong ... ( 1 year ago by owenbigpinekey)
I could be wrong about that, I just have no idea. Those were questions and not statements or anything like that. Im in the dark on this one.
You're right, ... ( 1 year ago by dominokat07)
You're right, sometimes it just doesn't take. Statistics say there's a 43% chance of successful implantation of embryos in women under 35, and less than 10% for those 40 and over. So it's basically a cointoss. I guess success relies alot on the timing, and apparently alot on chance. :/P Even then, even if conditions are ideal, sometimes it just doesn't "take". :/

The woman is born ... ( 1 year ago by mia0899cs)
The woman is born with so many eggs. We ovulate once a month and that is the time the woman can get pregnant. The man has the sperm (a lot of it), however, it has to attach to the egg to create a fetus. So, the embryo is the baby technically in it's early developmental stages. So, then when the woman wants to have this baby, they will implant the embryo into her uterus. Another woman who is younger can also carry this embryo.

I am a licensed RN and I really thought they just froze the woman's egg. I really didn't know that it is a fertilized egg. So, all the DNA has already been created. This embryo has all the genes at this point.

You are funny! No ... ( 1 year ago by mia0899cs)
You are funny! No it is not that "empty nest" thing. I have a seven year old son and that is enough. I had an easy pregnancy, however, I don't like being pregnant. I only breastfed for four weeks. I couldn't drink coffee and I wasn't even going to do that. I am done changing diapers. I like when the child is independent.
I know celebrities ... ( 1 year ago by mia0899cs)
I know celebrities do, but then I question their motive. I would say why not adopt black children in America. I know in Africa the children have it much worse. Kwashiorkor from starving and many get parasites in their eyes and go blind. What always troubled me was why pharmaceutical companies wouldn't send drugs over to kill the parasites. That is why you will see black children in Africa blinking their eyes so rapidly it is because of the parasites.
