i love this band,and i really wanna visit iceland because it just looks beautiful.i dont think its a coincidence that these people are from such a place because the chilling beauty of their land is masterfully reflected in their epic songs.its sometimes cold and raw but its the realest form of music i've ever heard

amazing. this song has an unexplainable quality, that just seems to "reach" me no matter how deep a state of mind im in. words cant quite describe this, as the concept of this song goes beyond "meaning", i perceive it as something else... something more. Therefore it is something very very special to me and i assume many others indeed.

"Von" means hope. It's sung in Hopelandic/Vonlenska, so there are no real lyrics beyond Jonsi's voice being an instrument. At least that's my interpretation of info found on the web. It's beautiful, regardless.
Watching and listening to Sigur Ros on a nearly daily basis has become relaxation for me. I am thankful to having stumbled onto Heima on Sundance recently, and I am so grateful. See the Glosoli video--it's breathtaking.

Its hilarious trying to explain sigur ros, because it is impossible =( In my interpretation, Sigur Ros's sound represents complete understanding, complete oneness. It is so complicated in its simplicity. They depict a state of mind, or perhaps a lack there of. Just complete, oneness... an effect that only music, meditation and love can bring one. =] Anyone agree? lol XD
