This isn't about a cult. The Secret is a message recycled over time. Over and over again. It's even in the bible, "The lord helps those who help themselves." The Beatles, "Let it be" The Secret is about a message......not a cult.
The biggest sham is how so many people make money off the same recycled information, when the secret is in many of the songs we listen to over the radio. Can you think of a song with the same message?

The idea of "as you think, you will become" is in Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. If you think positivly, set a goal, and most importantly WORK YOUR BUTT OFF TO ACHIEVE THE GOAL you will most likely be successful.
The concept of "The Secret" is a good thing. The commercialism and cult nature from the book and DVD hucksters ("authors" "entrepreneurs" "visionaries") is inheriently evil. The first 20 minutes of the movie is all you need to get the idea.

It's actually antithetical to most of the Bible's messages, which communicate that "The Lord" helps, protects, and delivers those who can't help themselves.
