What America is Missing

Uploaded by: kanifox
Video Description:
Goodness, look at this! A political figure boldly standing up and answering real questions with real answers and solving real issues! People speaking their minds, even when it means getting angry or hurting someone else's feelings. They get to the truth. That's what we're missing in America today. Bush wouldn't last two minutes in this place!

Australia has 'debating politics' also. It can be hilarious to watch. The fact that two of our parliamentary performers have the last names 'Abbott' and 'Costello' is just one indicator of the hilarity that ensues during Australian question time.

it may seem anachronistic but Britain still owns crown dependancies and crown territories accross the world, they are not large, most are small islands of no particularly worth, but many of the worlds richest people invest their due to the very low corporate taxes. its nothing to brag about, but Britain still has an empire though we dont like using the name. Bibralter in the mediteranean is a good example. its not part of commonwealtg, for they have their own government, they are an empire

there so many signficant and huge differences in the way the British government is, functions, was, and works with the citizens. I understand it would be awesome to have this on Capital Hill each week, but the thing is that American politics (and culture) for that matter is vastly too different when you would adopt a Q & A session like this, but just too many conflicts and differences

I can't remember who it was but someone said "George W Bush wouldn't have been able to handle the cauldron that is life in the House of Commons". There certainly have been American Presidents who would have done fine there but poor George would have been torn to shreds.

once again...you must be fucking joking or mentally disabled. because the entire country including myself spoke out against the Iraq war (and most of the world too)...its the people who supported it that were crucified. Do you think Bush will have a political career after this? Funny you think people who spoke out against the iraq war were crucified...THEN HOW DID OBAMA BECOME PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES...an avid protester against the war... Yeah get your shit straight dumbass

look buddy, at least i'm not an asshole. I don't know if you've been knocked out for the last 8 years but back when the Iraq War and the "War on Terrorism" was in full force, speaking out against them would bring yourself to ridicule. Look at France. In Canada, when we didn't support the US, we had our asses handed to us. I'm not too sure about the situation in America but I'm sure anti-war protesters were called anti-American. Obviously you're taking the treason stuff too seriously.

Aye I am quite an asshole, I apologize for that. but nontheless its going to offend me if you tell me that in my beautiful and badly lead country that people are treated as if they are treasonous when they don't support a war. That simply isn't the case and hasn't been since Vietnam. Sure maybe certain politicians will speak badly of the protesters but those politicians do not even make a majority.

the people behind the party leader on the benches represent elected MP's from different constituencies/councils across the UK. they stand because they agree/concur with what the speaker is saying. that is how legislation/new law is passed.
