Thats not really easier, because 70% of the time you won't draw/cast any Demi magic from him because it heavily negates your chances, blinding it may take a few trys but it's physical attack will still keep hitting you if you just try and draw Demi. Unless of course you meant that you blinded it beforehand, then I apologise sir.

Because everyone loves or hates an entire series with only vague ties to each other. Each game has enough gameplay differences, not to mention character and story differences to be judged seperately.

In YOUR opinion. Just because you think so doesn't make it true. And saying that you'll either love or hate them all is total bull. I love some of them and hate others. The game play can vary by quite a lot depending on which one you're playing.

And just because you think they're good doesn't mean they are. And from an objective point of view, they aren't. The gameplay is unrealistic and archaic, and the lack of character customization (appearance, skills, etc.) is unacceptable in any RPG for a console after the SNES and Genesis.

Lack of character customization? In 7, 8, 10, 10-2 and Tactics you can make any character have whatever skills you wanted them to have by switching stuff around.
And I didn't say they were good. I said generalizations are stupid. It's a matter of taste and nothing more. Just because I liek some doesn't make the series good and just because you dont does't make them bad. Each game is different and while there are some similarities they are not just copies a
nd should be judged on each's quality

That's not costumization, those are item-granted buffs. And in this case generalization is acceptable, because all FF games have unrealistic and archaic gameplay and lack of character costumization.
