Well, there was that one episode, Falling Hare. Bugs was at an airport and he chased a gremlin into a plane. When the gremlin was about to crash the plane into a tall skyscraper, Bugs forced the plane to free-fall
with him and the gremlin in it while the height meter was falling just as fast as this speedometer is. And finally, the plane ran out of gas and halted to a stop.
That entire event could be set into motion kind of like this.
