I give the guy credit....it takes some balls to be that bad on the world stage! I'm not sure why they would grant this guy a position. There is usually a minimum standard to even qualify to stop things like this. I'm sure he's a hero in his country though.

He's from the Equitorial Guinea, he only started swimming in the same Year as this race, there are no Pools in Equitorial Guinea so he learnt how to swim in a croc infested River, he's never done the turn-over before and had to look up all the time for the wall.

Funny thing is, when I was watching the miracle relay where Lezak whomped the Frogs, I was thinking the same thing when the black swimmer gave up the lead n the set-up leg. Wow, before I saw this, I did not know how much black people couldn't swim! Still, how could you not root for him?
